Religion says that we are created in God’s image
Spirituality says that we are the Cosmos made human
What if ‘God’ is the universe and the Universe, God?
Religion says that in order to find yourself, you have to find God
Spirituality says that in order to find God, you have to find yourself
It is said that God lives in all of us
God’s are immortal men
Men are Mortal Gods
If we are the cosmos made human
Man is both the sculptor and the sculpture
We are a universe
We create our own image
The temples on the side of our head
Houses the God within
The pineal gland
Our third eye
As above, So below
As within, So without
As the universe, So the soul
The universe is powerful
We are created by the universe
Does the universe fear us coming to our power…
Or does it push us to discover the power?
The ability to destroy and create
The ability to hurt and heal
The ability to curse and save
The ability to love and evolve

Lost my mind in a fortress of solitude
My bare feet soiled by dried, decaying blood cut open by the madness of loneliness and yet…
My eyes were glued wide open as my hair grew into mattered knots cut by my own fingernails drenched in the stench from the rotting flesh of my own palms
My thoughts…
Rancid under the light of the moon
My flesh boils as I lay encumbered to this cauldron that bubbles and vomits
Insanity… Was my emancipator
We need not question where the Gods quench their thirst
Only by whom the chalice was molded
Whence did the grapes for the wine ferment?
You see we are the Gods reincarnate
Our minds are temples that bear knowledge destined to be harnessed
The flesh that rests upon our bones are temporal in the eyes of the Universe unknown
To create we must destroy
To heal we must hurt
To save we must curse
To evolve we first, must love
As within, so shall be around
But if Heaven and Hell is within does peace remain profound?
We balance our Libra scales
Ignorant to deaths arouse
As above, so below
As the Universe… So the soul

This poem is a collaborative piece between two of our poets. The first stanza was written by Saint whom originally had the idea and the second was written by one of our founders, Mackalan. Alkebulan translates to “Mother of mankind”. This piece is designed to illustrate to intricate connection and differences between Western and Eastern religious beliefs.

I write about the absolution of love and the dissolution of the soul.
